All other Accords are inferior.

Those wheels are amazing.

Such a clean design, simple lines, nothing out of place.

Good luck finding one. The last time I saw an Aerodeck for sale was in 2014, the seller wanted €8.000,- iirc. It was very clean and very low mileage though.

If you really want it and have the cash ($7-8k all in, as an educated guess) it could be shipped to you, you know. It wouldn’t be the first time we’d make something like that work via Oppo.

I’ve actually looked for these before, and could find maybe one or two Europe wide at that time. Japanese cars of the 80s that aren’t Toyota Starlets have a very low survival rate in Europe.

The last time I saw an Aerodeck was in 2011 or 2012. I saw 3 at the same time. All 3 thoroughly rusted heaps in a junkyard that had been there for many years.

I've had the sedan, I've had the hatchback. There's only one I've been missing. I too want an Aerodeck. Although I have to say I just don't like the color on this one. Red never looked good on this body style Accord to me.

There was one I saw on Bring a Trailer in 2014 (in PA) that I very seriously considered instead of the Mini. It was only $6500 and looked fairly clean, but I figured the esoteric choice wasn’t the right one.

The craigslist ad is long gone, but definitely a cool car.

Yes. This. This is what I miss so much from modern cars in this crazy overstyled baroque period of automotive design we seem to be in. People think I’m crazy for liking the 2005-2009 Mustang design so much but LOOK at it. It’s the essence of Mustang. The simplest design you could have that incorporates retro flair and an uncomplicated brutally honest design. The Dodge Challenger is the same. The new Fiat 124 Spyder is another car wherein the simplicity of its design makes it a fabulous call-back to the original car, and one of the best modern interpretations of a classic I’ve ever seen.

But no. Let’s make the new Miata look like an angry fish in a world where Kia Rios and Hyundai Elantras look like they just did four lines of coke and are ready to fight the shit out of everyone.

I still have an immense want for one of these. Lower it a tad, get 250hp out of it somehow, manual transmission, and it’d be one hell of a ride. There are a few lowered-but-not-stanced examples around here and it’s a supremely well-done wagon design.
